The Plant Resources Center & Herbarium at the University of Texas at Austin has grown considerably since the first plant specimens were collected in the 1890 s. Today, they have one of the largest plant collections (over 1 million specimens) of the United States. It has the largest holdings of Texas plants in the world., along with strong representation of Mexico and northern Central America.

We are headquartered at Utah State University with collaborators from across the U.S. and around the world.
